Your Right to Delete

You have the right to request deletion of your Quote Loop account and all associated personal data at any time. This right is provided under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

We are committed to honouring all deletion requests promptly and completely.

How to Request Deletion

There are two ways to delete your account:

Option 1, Via the App (Fastest)

• Open Quote Loop
• Tap the menu icon (top left) → Settings
• Scroll to the bottom → tap Delete Account
• Confirm by entering your email address
• Tap Delete My Account

Your account and all associated data are permanently deleted immediately. This cannot be undone.

Option 2, Via Email Request

Send an email to info@quoteloop.com.au with:

• Subject line: Account Deletion Request
• Your full name
• The email address associated with your Quote Loop account
• A brief statement confirming you want your account and all data permanently deleted

We will confirm receipt of your request within 2 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days.

What Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed from our systems:

• Your profile information (name, email, phone, business details)
• All quotes you have created
• All invoices you have created
• All job records
• All client records
• All AI insights and observations
• Your onboarding responses and business settings
• Your account credentials

Deletion Timeline & Data Retention

• In-app deletion (Settings): Your account and all associated data are permanently deleted immediately, and you can no longer log in. This cannot be undone.
• Email request: We confirm receipt within 2 business days and permanently delete your account and data within 30 days.
• Backups: Any remaining copies in our backups are purged within 30 days.
• Confirmation: For email requests, we send you an email confirming deletion is complete.

If you simply cancel your subscription without deleting your account, your data is retained for 90 days after cancellation and then deleted, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can delete your account immediately at any time using Option 1 above.

What Is Retained

In limited circumstances, we may retain certain information after account deletion where required by law:

• Financial records: Transaction records may be retained for up to 7 years as required by Australian taxation law
• Legal compliance: Information required to comply with a legal obligation or court order
• Fraud prevention: Anonymised data used to prevent fraud or abuse

Any retained data is kept securely, used only for the stated purpose, and deleted as soon as it is no longer required.

Before You Delete, Cancel Your Subscription First

If you have an active subscription, you must cancel it through your App Store before requesting account deletion. Deleting your account does not automatically cancel your subscription.

To cancel on iPhone / iPad: Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → Quote Loop → Cancel Subscription

To cancel on Android: Google Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Quote Loop → Cancel
